My design philosophy is to create pieces that beautifully balance simplicity and femininity with a modern aesthetic. I create each design with a unique combination of colors, textures and metals while at the same time retaining simplicity. |

Gorgeous new ring…and a broken promise
Well, I promised to share gem photos from the gem show I went to today, but alas, the gem show was total crap and I nearly left in tears. So sorry not to have any delicious new stones to show you. I’ll have to get my gem fix another time! I still have lots of [...]
Etsy front page, new items and more!
Well, hello! It’s been a busy, busy week here at the Staples household! I can hardly believe tomorrow is Friday already. I’m off to a gem show tomorrow and feel like a kid on Christmas eve. I haven’t been to one since February, so I’m awfully excited to get some new gems! I promise [...]

New Cuff links and 14K Gold Bezel Ring
With Father’s Day right around the corner and wedding season, I’ve been having so much fun with men’s accessories. I think I’ve said that a thousand times before, but it’s true!
I finished up a custom cuff link order and really liked how they turned out so I’ve added them to my shop.
Speaking of men’s accessories…If you [...]
Bummer on the Bench
I’ve been busy with production work and haven’t had much time for new designs, but I had this sweet little Watermelon Tourmaline slice that I was dying to set, make a necklace out of and list today. I guess I got too excited….I broke the stone while I was setting it and I’m still sad [...]
Personalized Sterling Silver Money Clips
Father’s Day and wedding season has put money clip making in full swing! I finally got some stamps so I can add initials to items to personalize. I love initials on men’s accessories. It makes it feel like an heirloom.
How does your garden grow?
A quick jewelry break! My first love may be jewelry, but the last couple years, my second love has been my garden. I grew up watching my mom in the garden and eating fresh vegies from it all summer. Now, as an adult, I’ve gotten really nostalgic about that part of my childhood and have [...]

Finished! Lemon Quartz Ring with 14K Gold
One of the 2 14K gold bezel set rings I’ve been working on is done! Check it out! The next one I will be working on is a Rutilated Quartz – stunning. Then I will have to break down and get more bezel wire. I just got a tiny bit to try it out and [...]
Working with Gold
I’ve started playing with some recycled 14K gold. Playing with gold probably isn’t that smart – it’s so fricking expensive. But, so far, so good. I’ll be setting a Lemon Quartz and Rutilated Quartz in my favorite cushion checkerboard cut in the next day or so! Can’t wait to show the final product…in the meantime [...]
