They’re here…..Washington cherries. I haven’t forgotten that the rest of the country is experiencing summer. Warm sun, shorts, tank tops, barbecues, evenings on the porch. Trust me – I am well aware as I button up my sweater every day here in Seattle. But, thankfully it has arrived in other parts of our state and cherries are here. Sweet, beautiful cherries. They make me so happy! I can’t bear to do anything with them but just eat them and spit their pits.
Maybe after a couple more pounds, I’ll branch out : ). Any ideas for me? I guess for now, I’ll just eat my wonderful cherries in my sweater and wait for the sun.
