On Sunday, the husband and I jumped on a ferry to Bainbridge Island to check out 2 places. The first was Cafe Nola. I had heard they have an amazing brunch, and boy do they! I had their Carmel Pecan French Toast. So good! Amazing Bloody Marys too…We then headed to Bloedel Reserve for a lovely, tranquil walk around 150 acres of the most beautiful grounds. It’s amazing how just a half hour ferry ride can made you feel a world away…It was a much needed little getaway.
There has been a lot of life-junk (I made that up – but you know exactly what I mean, right?) to deal with at the Staples’ lately, but I promise to have some new jewelry soon! Hang tight : )
