I’ve been dying to work with this color combo as soon as I started working with gold.  I’m not sure what took me so long to do it.  It feels really special though.  The kind of ring you would have forever and never get tired of.

When I first designed this necklace, it had just one long tube.  I liked it, but something was wrong.  It didn’t feel feminine enough for me.  Getting the mix of both modern and feminine is really important to me.  I don’t like to overdo it on either end.  I need the perfect mix of both.  So it sat in my studio for a few weeks.  I finally realized just this morning that it just needed more movement to soften it.  I cut the tube into 4 and I now like it better than I ever thought I would.  So simple, but there is just something about it that I just adore.

I can’t believe it’s the weekend already!   Fall is a really great time in the studio for me.  Time just flies and that is such a good feeling.  I spend the day dreaming, working, creating, and the next thing I know I’m holding a big handful of sparkly new jewelry waiting for their new home…A quick look at the clock and it’s time to head back up to tend to life and pour a glass of wine.  Now that’s a good day!
